Ok, I know time and time again I say I'm going to blog. The fact of the matter is it's just not happening. I thought that since my wife is starting to work again, when i get home, I'd have about 3 hours of time available to do whatever before my wife and daughter get home. It turns out, I'm having to watch my daughter a little more than I thought. I also have 3 graphic novel ideas, and side architectural work. Also, with the release of Bioshock, and then Halo 3 this 25th, I'm afraid I'm going to be "OVERLOADED". I'll try to blog as much as I can. I don't know if anyone still reads this but if so, hang in there, and I may even put snippets of my graphic novels and artwork in the mix.

Yesterday was my birthday and I have decided to make a few resolutions. Unlike my newyears resolutions, I will try to stick to these. Here's how I look at resolutions. We tend to make them so unatainable that we can't help but not stick to them and follow up on our wants. So for my birthday resolutions I will make them the easiest to achieve as possible.

1. Go fishing more often. (Last year I went fishing three times and that just isn't going to work for me this year.)

2. Spend as much time with my family as I can. (I am about to start to get every other friday off and this would be a good thing to do on these days. That and fishing.)

3.Complete more of my video games. (I tend to start playing a game and then not finish it because another one has come out that catches my interest more.)

4.Relax. (I tend to have no time to myself as much as I used to since my daughter was born. I want to just relax every once in a while.)

5.Blog (I mentioned in my last post that I was going to start blogging daily. After that post. Immediately after, like 10 minutes after. I decided I was going to start on my birthday. So here's the first post.)

That seems to sum up my resolutions. Like I said most are very attainable, and some I've already begun to do, so I should just be able to continue on coarse. I also am thinking of a closing line for my blog so that every blog entry has that closing line and is sort of news anchorish. If anyone has any good ones, let me know.

I've been asking (bitching) for the longest time about getting customizable header for your vox blog.  Looks like i've missed the email, but recently noticed that you can change the header for you blog.  Now onto bitching about customizing your entire background and what not.

Dear Vox,

You know what would be cool. If you can customize your entire background of your vox blog.  Please let the users do this.

Kenny Dion

This is the first real blog I've created. Therefore, this is the first real post I have.  I wanted to get started by telling you a little about myself.  My name is Kenny Dion, I'm 22 years old, and from Louisiana.  I am a proud Native American. I work for an architectural and engineering company, where I do residential architectural drafting and design work.  I love technology, it's how I found Vox (Inside the Net Podcast).  I am also an artist.  I've been creating art since I can remember and I hope to someday sell my paintings to anyone who loves art.  I am currently developing a website which will feature my art.  I am very new to and very interested in web and program development.  As I mentioned that I am creating a website, I am developing all the html code and cascading style sheets (CSS) on my own.  I hope to finish a rough outline of it by the end of the week.
