Give me give me....give me less...
Keep this in mind though, every year she wears less and less. At least in a
couple of years, she'll be singing nude and we'll be able to mute the tv to be able to watch her.
New iFanboy out.
Ok, I know time and time again I say I'm going to blog. The fact of the matter is it's just not happening. I thought that since my wife is starting to work again, when i get home, I'd have about 3 hours of time available to do whatever before my wife and daughter get home. It turns out, I'm having to watch my daughter a little more than I thought. I also have 3 graphic novel ideas, and side architectural work. Also, with the release of Bioshock, and then Halo 3 this 25th, I'm afraid I'm going to be "OVERLOADED". I'll try to blog as much as I can. I don't know if anyone still reads this but if so, hang in there, and I may even put snippets of my graphic novels and artwork in the mix.
Watch and see for yourself.
My wife left this morning to go visit her brother in Jacksonville, FL. As much as I thought it would be awesome to have some time to myself, it's pretty boring. My day has been filled with watching the 2nd and 3rd Matrix movies, eating sloppy joes and 4 popcicles.
Side Rant: The red squiggly line popped up under popcicles and one of the suggested spellings was testicles, and squiggly is spelled right. It blows my freaking mind.
Then I watched 4 episodes and am watching more Diggnation as we speak. Which is an awesome video netcast by the way. She doesn't come back till late tomorrow night.
Random Thought: I should get some beer...
I'll update later.
Yesterday was my birthday and I have decided to make a few resolutions. Unlike my newyears resolutions, I will try to stick to these. Here's how I look at resolutions. We tend to make them so unatainable that we can't help but not stick to them and follow up on our wants. So for my birthday resolutions I will make them the easiest to achieve as possible.
1. Go fishing more often. (Last year I went fishing three times and that just isn't going to work for me this year.)
2. Spend as much time with my family as I can. (I am about to start to get every other friday off and this would be a good thing to do on these days. That and fishing.)
3.Complete more of my video games. (I tend to start playing a game and then not finish it because another one has come out that catches my interest more.)
4.Relax. (I tend to have no time to myself as much as I used to since my daughter was born. I want to just relax every once in a while.)
5.Blog (I mentioned in my last post that I was going to start blogging daily. After that post. Immediately after, like 10 minutes after. I decided I was going to start on my birthday. So here's the first post.)
That seems to sum up my resolutions. Like I said most are very attainable, and some I've already begun to do, so I should just be able to continue on coarse. I also am thinking of a closing line for my blog so that every blog entry has that closing line and is sort of news anchorish. If anyone has any good ones, let me know.
It's about time that I come back to blogging. The past 10 weeks have been the best that my life has ever seen. Having a baby really changes your world, your priorities, and your wants as well. For instance, I no longer feel the need to spend 4 hours a day online. I'd rather spend that time with my little one because it's all I have. When I get home at 5:30 and my wife and little girl is home, I have 3 hours before she falls asleep for the night and I want every second with her. Afterwards, I'll jump online and maybe play a video game for a half hour or hour. It's been getting better and better. She's been sleeping all night long and starting to develop her personality to the things she likes and dislikes, as well as getting on a schedule to when she takes her nightime bath and feedings and such. That being said, when she falls asleep at 8:30 I have 2 1/2 hours before I go to bed. I'll use that time to type up some info and opinions on here. I just had to get situated and now I am. I feel that it's going to be a rollercoaster ride however and plans change all the time, especially with something unpredictable as 10 week old and counting.
